Synopsis :

Cin(t)a is a story of a love triangle between Cina, Annisa, and Tuhan (God).

Cina, an 18 year old freshman boy, is ready to conquer the world with his God, Jesus Christ, by his side. He believes that he was chosen to be the governor of Tapanuli, a province which he will form in the future. Cina fights with a strong faith, yet naïve, since it has never been tested by failure.

Annisa, a 24 year old senior whose education was held back because of her career as the brightest star in the Indonesian movie industry. She is so desperate to prove that she is not just another skin-deep beauty whose brain is not as adorable. Her fame and beauty leaves her so lonely that she believes only in the love of her family, a strong Javanese Moslem one.

Tuhan (God), the most unpredictable character. Everybody tries to describe him. Everybody thinks they know him. Every art tries to figure him. But nothing is really like him… or her.

Cina loves both God and Annisa.

Annisa loves both God and Cina.

God loves both Cina and Annisa

But Annisa and Cina cannot love each other

Because they call God by different names.
